Life lessons armed me with ability to process information while working. I have the skills to connect pieces of seemingly unrelated information to make educated decisions and anticipate outcomes.
Moreover, I retain intellectual humility—without proper modesty it's impossible to learn.
When facing the conundrum of a new world introduction, even a jaded businessman who is experienced a wide variety of positions of human and technology traits, I take the pragmatic approach. I can amuse for countless hours delighting audiences with stories of the extravagant world of porcupine mating. And I can manage an abbreviated session to converse about focusing on the tasks ahead, planning the project, placing my own hands the reins when needed, but also knowing how to take a step back and manage someone else.
Collectively means, “The Buck Stops Here.” I take responsibility for my own actions. I am able to communicate with subordinates as well as supervisors. It also means that I’m answerable to my subordinates, standing behind them while closely following their actions.
I also like to have fun at work and with coworkers as long as all know the boundaries and keep in mind we’re all assigned with positions and tasks we have to fulfill. My employees knew they can rely on me to back them up, but also that I won't hesitate to reprimand if the work is deliberately (or not) compromised.
I consider myself as a part of a team. That means having a panoramic wide view of the business; understanding the strategic goals and doing my share to attain them.
I possess the knowledge of the tasks before us, sharing this knowledge with others. My test is the ability to explain in a coherent concise manner making sure all parties understand assigned tasks. In any time, I’ll lend-a-hand and support carrying out the tasks with other parties, giving them the knowledge and tools needed to optimize executing their own tasks.
